Palestinian Prisoners’ Society confirms escalation of Israeli detentions and collective punishment

RAMALLAH, December 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said that Israeli authorities have continued an unprecedented escalation of systematic detentions following the onset of the occupation's genocidal war, with approximately 21,000 detentions in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, in addition to thousands of Palestinians in Gaza.

In a statement, the PPS affirmed that Israeli authorities are perpetrating further systematic crimes against detainees and their families, which constitute an extension of the war of extermination.

The statement emphasized that the daily detention figures not only reflect the increasing numbers but also the escalating level of accompanying crimes, most notably the extrajudicial killings carried out by the occupation army. These killings are accompanied by legislative efforts in the occupying state to enact a law permitting the death penalty for Palestinian prisoners.

The PPS affirmed that all current occupation crimes are an extension of its decades-long policy of targeting the Palestinian presence and imposing further tools of repression, control, and surveillance, but the intensity of violations has dramatically increased since the onset of the recent war.

It further pointed out that the demolition of the homes of prisoners Abdul Karieem Sunoubar and Ayman Ghanim earlier today is part of Israel's ongoing attempt to target the Palestinian presence and implement collective punishment. These operations have escalated to unprecedented levels since the start of the genocidal war.

Tuesday 2-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Last Tuesday, the 'Izzuddeen El-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in coordination with the al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad, handed over the body of an Israeli captive as part of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” agreement reached with Israel.

Palestinian resistance factions have also returned 26 bodies of captives out of 28 that remain in Gaza, in accordance with the agreement reached under US pressure. In return, Israel released roughly 2,000 Palestinian detainees from its prisons and returned the bodies of hundreds of Palestinian victims to the Strip.

257 Palestinian journalists killed in Gaza

Tuesday 2-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza announced that the number of journalists killed in the Gaza Strip has risen to 257, following the killing of journalist Mahmoud Wadi earlier Tuesday.

In a press statement, the PGMO explained that the death toll among journalists has continued to climb since the start of the war on Gaza, emphasizing that journalists are being targeted systematically.

The statement condemned “the deliberate killings and assassinations” of Palestinian journalists, calling on the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and media institutions around the world to take a clear stand against these violations.

The PGMO also held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the “crimes committed against journalists,” along with the United States administration and other countries supporting the military campaign, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.

The statement stressed the urgent need for the international community, as well as journalistic and human rights organizations, to act to hold those responsible accountable before international courts. It called for effective pressure to stop the Israeli attacks, ensure the protection of journalists and media workers in Gaza, and halt all targeting operations against them.

UN: Harsh weather and water crisis worsen Gaza’s dire humanitarian conditions

Tuesday 2-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Jonathan Veitch, UNICEF’s special representative in Palestine, has described the situation in the Gaza Strip as “devastating,” noting that the cold and rainy weather is affecting families already enduring extremely difficult conditions.

“The situation in Gaza is devastating as cold, and heavy rains continue to affect families living in extremely difficult conditions,” Veitch said in remarks on Tuesday.

“Even with the ceasefire, daily life remains incredibly challenging for children in the Gaza Strip,” the UNICEF official said.

“UK aid–supported tents have now entered Gaza and will provide urgently needed shelter to help families face the harsh winter. Much more is needed,” he added.

For his part, the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to safe drinking water and sanitation, Pedro Arrojo, warned of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, noting that the Israeli army has destroyed nearly 90 percent of the water facilities since it started the war on the enclave.

In a recent statement, Arrojo accused the Israeli army of using thirst as a weapon against Gaza’s residents by targeting water infrastructure and blocking the entry of fuel needed to operate wells and desalination plants.

The UN expert pointed out that contaminated drinking water poses a direct threat to thousands of Gazan families, amid growing fears of cholera outbreaks and other deadly diseases due to the lack of safe water.

Tubas schools suspend attendance amid ongoing Israeli assault

Tuesday 2-December-2025

TUBAS, (PIC)

The Directorate of Education in Tubas announced on Monday evening the suspension of school and kindergarten attendance, as the Israeli assault continues and a sweeping curfew remains imposed across the governorate.

'Azmi Balawna, the director of education in Tubas, said the decision includes halting in-person classes on Tuesday in all schools and kindergartens due to severe movement restrictions.

He added that the directorate will shift to online learning until further notice, prioritizing the safety of students and staff in the education sector.

On the ground, Israeli occupation forces intensified their raids across large areas of Tubas city and the nearby town of Aqaba early Monday, imposing a comprehensive curfew that remains in effect.

Occupation forces deployed widely throughout the city and town, raiding several homes and converting them into military posts after forcing residents out. The raids were concentrated particularly in the Al-Hadiqa neighborhood and other areas inside Tubas.

Military bulldozers began sealing off main roads and cutting the governorate into isolated pockets, including the closure of El-Dair Road connecting 'Ainoun with Toubas and Tammoun, along with tighter restrictions on movement around the governorate.

Israeli occupation forces had pulled out on Saturday evening from Tubas City and the towns of Tammoun, 'Aqaba, Tayaseer and El-Fari’a refugee camp, following four days of large-scale Israeli military operations across the northern West Bank.

Nidal 'Oada, the head of ambulance and emergency services in Tubas, confirmed that medical teams have dealt with 130 injuries since the operation began early Wednesday. Sixty-six of those injured were transferred to hospitals, while the rest received field treatment despite the difficult security conditions.

UNRWA: Israel is holding 6,000 trucks, enough supplies for Gaza for 3 months

Monday 1-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

'Adnan Abu 'Hasna, the media adviser for UNRWA, said that the Israeli occupation authorities are holding 6,000 agency trucks loaded with food supplies sufficient for the Gaza Strip for three months, in addition to hundreds of thousands of tents and blankets designated for about 1.3 million Palestinians as the humanitarian crisis worsens.

Abu 'Hasna explained, in an interview with Al Jazeera, that the number of trucks currently entering Gaza exceeds the average that used to enter before the ceasefire. However, he stressed that these quantities do not match the enormous level of need inside the Strip.

He added that the occupation authorities continue to ban the entry of hundreds of vital items, including health, sanitation, water, and food supplies, noting that they allow more materials to enter for the commercial sector than for humanitarian and relief organizations.

Abu 'Hasna confirmed that most of Gaza’s population relies entirely on humanitarian aid, as residents have lost their purchasing power, except for a limited number of UN agency employees and what remains of Palestinian Authority staff.

He explained that humanitarian organizations submit requests to bring in essential materials such as spare parts for desalination and sewage plants, medical equipment, and international teams and staff. However, Israel rejects most of these requests, limiting its approvals to basic supplies such as canned food, flour, and some medicines.

Abu 'Hasna warned that the continuation of this situation will push Gaza back to square one, noting that limited rainfall over the past two days caused rainwater to mix with sewage due to the destruction of infrastructure, leading to widespread collapse of tens of thousands of tents.

Meanwhile, waste continues to pile up, and sewage water floods the narrow streets near displaced persons’ tents in the southern part of the Strip, while children live in an environment rife with diseases and epidemics, according to testimonies from the displaced.

Municipal officials told Al Jazeera correspondent Hani Al-Sha'ir that the current fuel crisis is the worst since the war began two years ago and has paralyzed all aspects of municipal work. Municipal vehicles, already in poor condition, have stopped operating due to fuel shortages, while the occupation authorities have not allowed new vehicles to enter.

The Civil Defense also faces extreme challenges due to the severe fuel shortage, preventing its teams from reaching distress areas in time, whether for rescue operations during weather depressions or for retrieving victims and removing dangers threatening the population.

Tuesday 2-December-2025

Khan Younus, (PIC)

A Palestinian photojournalist was martyred on Tuesday in an Israeli strike on central Khan Younus in southern Gaza, in yet another attack targeting media workers since the start of the genocide.

Media sources confirmed the martyrdom of journalist and photographer Ma'hmoud 'Isam Wadi after an Israeli drone fired on an area in central Khan Younus. Another journalist, Mu'hammed Abdul Fatta'h Mu'hammed Islayyi'h, 40, was wounded by shrapnel in the same attack.

Earlier in the day, medical teams reported the martyrdom of Shakir 'Aatif El-'Awawda from El-Buraij refugee camp after he was targeted by an Israeli quadcopter drone east of the refugee camp.

In Gaza City, a young man was shot by an Israeli drone, while civil defense crews evacuated five wounded civilians and dozens of families trapped by Israeli occupation forces’ (IOF) fire in eastern Gaza, marking yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on 10 October.

Gaza’s Civil Defense said its teams successfully rescued five injured individuals, including two women and two children, from El-Sanafour Junction area. The agency added that dozens of families in the Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood were evacuated overnight after IOFs tanks and drones surrounded residential blocks and opened heavy fire.

Local sources reported that Israeli drones fired projectiles that ignited fires in homes near El-Sanfour Junction east of El-Tuffa'h, as IOFs expanded the boundaries of the so-called “yellow line,” which now places more than 53 percent of Gaza’s landmass under Israeli control based on the current agreement.

In the south, IOFs machinery opened fire east of Khan Younus, while Israeli artillery shelled the city’s eastern areas alongside repeated airstrikes. Israeli aircraft also fired heavily on Rafa'h City in the early morning hours.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire continue for the 53rd consecutive day, with multiple areas across the Strip experiencing ongoing military escalation.

Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on 10 October, 359 Palestinians have been martyred, most of them women, children and elderly civilians. Another 903 have been wounded in varying degrees.

Israeli occupation army continues Gaza ceasefire violations amid renewed strikes

Tuesday 2-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army has continued, for the 53rd consecutive day, to violate the Gaza ceasefire agreement with renewed military attacks reported across several areas of the Strip on Tuesday.

According to media sources, the Israeli occupation army carried out intensive artillery shelling targeting several points inside the yellow line area, amid gunfire from helicopters flying at low altitudes.

Along the yellow line east of the Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes carried out strikes on several areas, including the neighborhoods of El-Shuja’iya and El-Tuffa'h.

The Israeli army also launched an artillery attack on al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while quadcopters dropped bombs on homes near El-Sanafour junction in El-Tuffa'h neighborhood.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces detonated a remote-controlled vehicle carrying explosives near El-Shuja’iya junction in Gaza City’s Sha’af area.

The Israeli army announced that it had killed a Palestinian in central Gaza, claiming he crossed the yellow line and posed a threat.

For his part, the Gaza civil defense service said that it managed with the help of OCHA to evacuate dozens of families, including women and children, from El-Tuffa'h neighborhood under heavy Israeli tank and drone fire.

The civil defense added that it also evacuated some wounded civilians from the same neighborhood.

In a separate context, UN secretary-general’s spokesman Stephane Dujarric warned on Monday that the lack of enough essential supplies and the extensive destruction of infrastructure after two years of war in the Gaza Strip severely hinder efforts to expand health services for the population.

Addressing reporters in New York on Monday, Dujarric described Gaza’s humanitarian situation as “extremely dire,” with health and humanitarian needs surging beyond the capacity of organizations working on the ground.

“Humanitarian coordinator for the occupied Palestinian territory, Ramiz Alakbarov, has just finished a fact-finding mission to Gaza, stressing the importance of unfettered humanitarian access,” the spokesman said.

According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission last October, the total number of permanent and temporary checkpoints (gates, military barriers, and earth mounds) that divide Palestinian lands and restrict the movement of people and goods has reached 916. Of these, 243 are iron gates that were erected after October 7, 2023.

Israeli occupation forces demolish Palestinian home in Toubas amid ongoing wide-scale offensive

TOUBAS, December 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli bulldozers demolished on Tuesday a Palestinian house in the town of 'Aqaba, north of Toubas.

'Aqaba Mayor Abdul-Razzaq Abu 'Arra told WAFA that Israeli forces demolished the two-story, 180-square-meter home of the family of imprisoned Palestinian Ayman Naji'h Ghanim.

According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces deployed a heavy bulldozer and military reinforcements. This is the second demolition operation in two hours, as Israeli forces blew up the apartment of prisoner Abdul Kareem Sanoubar in the town of Zawata, west of Nablus, after forcing dozens of families to evacuate their homes in the vicinity of the place.

The demolition comes as Israeli troops continue their wide-scale offensive against Tubas and Aqaba for the second day in a row.

Israeli military blows up a home in Jineen refugee camp as demolitions continue in northern West Bank

Tuesday 2-December-2025

Jineen, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army detonated a Palestinian home on Tuesday evening inside the Jineen refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

Local sources reported that a loud explosion echoed throughout the refugee camp, followed by thick smoke rising from the area, after one of the homes in the “Tal‘at El-Ghabbaz” neighborhood was blown up.

Earlier Friday, the Israeli occupation army began demolishing Palestinian homes in Jineen refugee camp, just hours after announcing its plan to destroy 24 buildings inside the camp.

On November 12, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated that satellite images showed roughly 1460 buildings had been destroyed or severely or moderately damaged in the Jineen, Nour Shams, and Toulkarm refugee camps in the northern West Bank.

Since January 21, the Israeli army has continued a military offensive in camps across the northern West Bank, starting in Jenin and expanding to include the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps east of Toulkarm.

Israeli occupation forces seal off entrances of northern West Bank town

Jineen, December 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening sealed off the entrances of Qabatiya town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Jineen, according to local sources.

They said that the occupation forces blocked the town entrances and several roads within it, before they broke into several civilians’ houses, forcing families outside and turned their rooftops into sniping posts.

The gun-toting soldiers briefly held and interrogated several civilians, obstructed the movement of vehicles and inspected passengers’ ID cards.

The raid resulted in the detention of at least a civilian.

The occupation forces have been imposing a curfew on the town starting at 1:00 PM (Tuesday) until further notice.

The occupation forces have tightened military measures across the occupied West Bank hours after the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire went into effect on January 19, dismembering and isolating cities and governorates from one another using military gates, barriers, and concrete blocks.

The Israeli military measures are in parallel with ongoing attacks by Israeli colonists across the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians and displace them from their lands to seize them and build illegal Jewish colonies that separate Palestinian communities.

Israel severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement within the occupied West Bank through a complex combination of approximately 898 fixed and flying checkpoints and gates, including 18 gates that have been installed since the start of 2025 and 146 others installed in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, settler-only roads, over 200 military bases, and various other physical obstructions.

Closures besides other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 58-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project, which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.

Israeli occupation forces tighten military measures north of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, December 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli forces have maintained the complete closure of the Atara military checkpoint and the entrance to the village of Umm Safa, both north of Ramallah, since Tuesday morning, according to local and security sources.

The closures, combined with significantly tightened military procedures at the nearby Ain Sinya checkpoint and the establishment of a new flying checkpoint at the entrance to Silwad town, have severely disrupted daily life and movement for Palestinians in the northern Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, the sources told WAFAÒ

This came after the occupying troops killed an 18-year-old Palestinian after he allegedly attempted to carry out a stabbing attack near Umm Safa.

The military measures have triggered severe traffic jams on the main routes, specifically the road connecting the village of Yabrud and the Al-Jalazone refugee camp, turning routine commutes into hours-long ordeals.

In response to the escalating restrictions, several schools in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh area have announced that Wednesday's schedule will be converted to a remote task day, with in-person attendance postponed until Thursday.

According to a report issued by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission in October, the total number of permanent and temporary checkpoints (gates, military or earthen roadblocks) that divide the Palestinian territories and impose restrictions on the movement of individuals and goods has reached a total of 916 so far, including military checkpoints and gates. Among these, 243 are iron gates installed after October 7, 2023.

Israeli occupation forces convert residential building into military outpost southwest of Jineen

Jineen, December 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening converted a residential building in the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jineen, into a military observation point after forcibly expelling its residents, according to local sources.

Sources said Israeli forces raided a residential building inhabited by several members of one family, forcibly expelled the residents, and turned it into a military outpost, bringing the number of homes and buildings converted into military outposts in the town to 11.

The building consists of three floors, in addition to an aluminum workshop and a storage facility belonging to the workshop located beneath the building.

The occupation’s aggression on Ya’bad has entered its fourth week, coinciding with attacks by Israeli colonists on citizens’ lands south of the town, ongoing incursions by Israeli forces, and repeated raids on homes and commercial shops.

310 days of aggression on Toulkarm: The Israeli occupation apartheid regime continues demolition and bulldozing operations

Tuesday 2-December-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces continued their assault on the city of Toulkarm and its two refugee camps for the three hundred and tenth consecutive day, and on the Nour Shams refugee camp for the 310th day. The operations include ongoing demolition and bulldozing inside both camps, alongside repeated raids, arrests, and escalating settler violence.

Throughout the past month, Toulkarm governorate and its camps witnessed a dangerous escalation by Israeli forces and settler militias, including repeated raids, mass arrests, and widespread damage to Palestinian property.

Over the past month, Israel deployed large military reinforcements and began bulldozing and paving the streets it opened inside the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps in an attempt to impose a new reality: dissolving the camps by turning them into suburbs of the city and preventing any reconstruction of demolished homes. So far, the military operation has resulted in the destruction of about 1440 homes.

In Nour Shams camp, east of Toulkarm, the assault has continued for the 13th consecutive week. The camp has witnessed explosions and heavy gunfire during yet another raid carried out by Israeli forces accompanied by military bulldozers. Families were forced to evacuate their homes in the Maslakh neighborhood, while displaced children continue expressing longing for their homes and schools, from which they have been deprived for nearly ten months.

Settler attacks have also escalated. Settler militias repeatedly targeted Palestinian property in the towns of Bait Lid and Dair Sharaf east of Toulkarm, setting fire to facilities and trucks belonging to the Janaydi Company. Several vehicles and shops were also damaged in these attacks.

More than 15 settler assaults were documented, with residents managing to repel four of them. Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out 450 home raids as part of 143 incursions into various areas of the governorate. They also conducted three confiscations of property, destroyed 26 others, suppressed multiple demonstrations, carried out 94 shooting incidents, and imposed 88 restrictions at military checkpoints. The ongoing aggression resulted in the injury of 26 Palestinians and the arrest of 46 others.

This escalation comes amid widespread public anger in Toulkarm and its camps, where daily raids continue, movement restrictions intensify, and entrances to several towns remain closed, all reflecting the occupation’s ongoing policy of collective punishment.

Numerous confrontations took place as residents resisted Israeli occupation forces and settlers, alongside protest marches condemning the expanding assault on the city, its camps, and surrounding towns.

The continued escalation has led to the forced displacement of more than 5,000 families from Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps, more than 25,000 people. Over 1440 homes have been completely destroyed, and 2573 partially damaged, while the entrances to both camps remain sealed with earth mounds, turning them into areas nearly devoid of civilian life.

So far, the ongoing assault has resulted in the killing of fourteen Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant, in addition to dozens of injuries and kidnappings, as well as extensive destruction of infrastructure, homes, commercial shops, and vehicles.

PPS: 21,000 kidnappings in West Bank and El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) since Gaza war began

Tuesday 2-December-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) has said that Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) have carried out about 21,000 arrests in the occupied West Bank, including El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), since the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip started more than two years ago.

In its statement on Tuesday, PPS described the IOFs kidnapping campaign in the West Bank as “the largest in decades,” emphasizing it involved not only mass detentions but also serious crimes such as extrajudicial killings during arrests.

PPS pointed to the Israeli occupation regime’s recent legislative efforts to enact a law permitting the execution of Palestinian prisoners.

PPS also said that Israeli occupation forces demolished today the homes of two prisoners in Nablus and Toubas, describing the measure as part of the collective punishment policy pursued by Israel against the Palestinian people.

Hordes of the illegal Israeli settlers defile El-Aqsa Mosque

Monday 1-December-2025

El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated El-Aqsa Mosque in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Monday morning and later in the afternoon, amid restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Administration in the holy city, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed provocative Talmudic prayers, especially in the eastern area of the Mosque and on the staircase leading to the plateau of the Dome of the Rock building.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at El-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack vehicles near Qalqilya

QALQILYA, December 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Tuesday evening attacked Palestinians’ vehicles near 'Immateen village, east of the occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya, according to local sources.

They said that the illegal Israeli settlers intercepted Palestinian-licensed vehicles at the junction leading to the village, and hurled stones at them, resulting in material damage.

The settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

The settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) in violation of international law.

Tuesday 2-December-2025

El-Khaleel (Hebron), (PIC)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers destroyed hundreds of grapevines and olive trees in the Khilat El-Hums area, south of El-Khaleel (Hebron) in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement on Monday, Al-Baidar Human Rights Organization reported that groups of settlers from the illegal Susya settlement bulldozed vast tracts of agricultural land in the Khilat El-Hums area, destroying about 500 grapevines and 350 olive trees belonging to the family of Obaid El-Masri.

The Khilat El-Hums area has long been exposed to daily violations, including settlers vandalizing farmland and grazing cattle and sheep on swaths of land planted with crops.

Al-Baidar Organization also said that settlers started on Monday evening to establish a new settlement outpost in the town of Mikhmas, northeast of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

It explained that a group of the illegal Israeli settlers erected structures on a swath of land in the town “as part of ongoing settlement expansion activity that threatens agricultural lands and local communities in the area.”

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
